How to give it / if eaten
Don't give them. One or two regular gummies just need watching. If your pet ate sugar-free jelly, vitamin gummies, real grape juice jelly or several wrapped pieces, grab the package and call your vet right away. If it's gagging, go in immediately.
Watch for these signs
Vomiting or diarrhea may occur. With xylitol, wobbliness, weakness, tremors or seizures can appear within 30 minutes to a few hours. A stuck gummy causes gagging, drooling and labored breathing.
