Background

Plenty of people share their bed because it feels comforting and seems to deepen the bond. Others keep separate sleeping spots to avoid fur, allergies, broken sleep and hygiene issues. There are animal-side factors too, from small dogs jumping off high beds to separation anxiety, so there is no single right answer.
