Background

Cats are naturally poor drinkers, so many vets and owners favour wet food for its moisture and potential benefits for kidney and urinary health. Dry food is cheaper, easier to store and can be left out, which suits owners with unpredictable schedules. Plenty of households feed a mix of both.
